NUMBERS 130 AND 136 AT 30 DAYS OLD. THIS WAS A PEEK AT OUR 2008 KID CROP. THESE TWO GUYS WERE ADDED TO OUR BREEDING PROGRAM. WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEIR OFFSPRING. WE SHOULD KNOW THE RESULTS IN APRIL. WATCH FOR THEIR PICTURES.
Thanks to all of our 2008 customers. We have heard from several of our Buyers that have already participated in and won their classes. Several have won Grand Champion in their local prospect shows. We hope to have pictures shortly. We are excited about the majors coming up. The competition should be very competitive this year. We have lost a few senior exhibitors but have noticed the younger exhibitors are just as tough.
This is our 2008 Kid #162 purchased by Dax Dittrich at our August Sale in Hallettsville. We took this picture the week before the San Antonio Livestock Show. He looked like a winner to us. Sure enough, he won 1st Place in his middle weight class and was the Reserve Grand Champion in the Middle Weight Division. We know that Dax and his family worked hard on his project and are very dedicated. We will display the San Antonio picture as soon as we get it.
Don't hesitate calling if you have questions. We don't just breed goats, we breed winners. Raising Show Wethers is what we do best. You can't find a perfect goat, but we've put the pieces together from several different bloodlines that will be able to compete with the toughest.
It's that time of the year again. We're waiting for the new kid crop. We will have early goats this year for those of you that are located in the counties with the early shows.
